– The Yeast Live-or-Dye Fixable Live/Dead Staining Kit is used to differentiate live and dead cells in yeast. It has two components: Thiazole Orange, which stains all cells, and Live-or-Dye, which stains only dead cells. The dyes are fixable, for maximum convenience.
