Product Description

– m-PEG-thiol (MW 750) is utilized to modify thiolated DNA for the synthesis of gold nanorods (AuNR). Using an mPEG-SH/Tween 20 assisted method (where Tween 20 and mPEG-SH repeatedly displace CTAB on the AuNR surface), thiolated DNA can be loaded onto the AuNR. DNA AuNR has been widely applied in nanostructure assembly, gene therapy, biosensing, and drug delivery.
