Product Description
– (Z)-KC02 is an ABHD16A inhibitor which targets the enzyme responsible for producing lysophosphatidylserine (lyso-PS), a lipid involved in regulating immune and neurological functions. This compound is linked to the mitigation of neurological disorders, including retinitis pigmentosa and cataracts (PHARC), by depleting lyso-PS in lymphoblasts from affected individuals. Moreover, (Z)-KC02 diminishes lyso-PS levels and lipopolysaccharide-induced cytokine production in macrophages and influences lyso-PS metabolism in vivo [1].
