Product Description
– Sulfo-Cy3 hydrazide, a Cyanine 3 (Cy3) dye derivative, features hydrazine functionality and enhanced water solubility due to the presence of a sulfonate ion, making it ideal for aqueous solutions. Known for its fluorescence, Cy3 emits within the green to orange wavelength range. The hydrazide group enables hydrazinone coupling with aldehyde or ketone-bearing molecules, forming covalent bonds. This property allows Cy3 azide plus to attach to biomolecules, such as proteins and antibodies, for tracing their locations and dynamic changes in biological samples.
