– PKCδ substrate serves as a nuclear transport protein for ERK2 and is involved in ERK2-mediated gene activation. PKCδ plays a role in regulating cellular growth, proliferation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis by phosphorylating hBVR and other proteins.
