– Lateritin (Bassiatin) is An Acyl-CoA:cholesterol acyltransferase (ACAT) inhibitor and a platelet aggregation inhibitor from the mycelial cake of Gibberella lateritium. Bassiatin is the (3S,6R) isomer.
