– Janelia Fluor 585, SE (JF585, SE) is an orange fluorescent dye with an NHS ester that can conjugate with primary amine groups, making it immediately useful for structured illumination (SIM) and stimulated emission depletion (STED) imaging, and convertible to a photoactivatable derivative for single-molecule localization microscopy (SMLM) experiments.
