– Cefotetan Sodium, a second-generation cephalosporin, cephamycin antibiotic, is active against a wide range of both aerobic and anaerobic gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria. Cefotetan disrupts the cell wall synthesis by binding to penicillin-binding proteins.
