Product Description
– AF647 C2 maleimide is a water-soluble fluorescent dye that remains stable under a range of physiological conditions. It facilitates the attachment of fluorescent groups to proteins by reacting with thiol groups on target proteins. This labeling method offers high sensitivity and specificity, enabling the detection of proteins at very low concentrations, making it valuable for studying protein expression and localization. Additionally, it can bind to antibodies for labeling cell surface antigens or specific proteins within tissues. [Ex/Em(nm)=651/671].
