– Fmoc-N-amido-PEG12-acid is a PEG derivative, it contains a Fmoc-protected amine and a terminal carboxylic acid. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. Under the basic conditions, the Fmoc group can be deprotected to obtain the free amine for further conjugations.
