– Dasycarpol(9beta-Hydroxyfraxinellone) shows significant neuroprotective activity against glutamate-induced neurotoxicity in primary cultures of rat cortical cells at a concentration of 0.1 microM. Dasycarpol also shows moderate inhibitory activity on lung cancer cell line A549.
