– LSM3 (LSM3 Homolog, U6 Small Nuclear RNA And MRNA Degradation Associated) is a Protein Coding gene. LSM3 is a member of the snRNP Sm proteins family. It plays role in pre-mRNA splicing as a component of the U4/U6-U5 tri-snRNP complex that is involved in spliceosome assembly, and as a component of the pre-catalytic spliceosome (spliceosome B complex).
