– Ditridecyl phthalate is a kind of phthalate ester. Phthalate esters are esters of phthalic acid and are mainly used as plasticizers to soften polyvinyl chloride. They can be found in many different kind if products, including glues, building materials, personal care products, detergents and surfactants, food products, and textiles. Phthalates can act as endocrine disruptors.
