– Cytochalasin E is a potent actin depolymerization agent and an epoxide containing Aspergillus-derived fungal metabolite. Cytochalasin E also inhibits angiogenesis and tumor growth. It binds and caps the barbed end of actin filaments to prevent actin elongation.
