– Loperamide (hydrochloride) (R-18553 (hydrochloride)) is an opioid receptor agonist[1][2][3]. Loperamide hydrochloride is a selective and competitive human intestinal carboxylesterases (hiCE) inhibitor. Loperamide hydrochloride has anti-diarrheal effect[4].
