– Bismuth Subsalicylate is a potent and orally active antacid and anti-diarrheal agent. Bismuth Subsalicylate reduces inflammation/irritation of stomach and intestinal lining through inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis in vivo[1]. Bismuth Subsalicylate is widely used for the research of diarrheal disorders, including indigestion, diarrhoea, nausea, et al[1][2].
