– 7-Methylsulfinylheptyl isothiocyanate acts as an activator of the MAPK signaling pathway, regulating down the proteins related to melanogenesis and inhibiting melanin synthesis in B16-F1 cells. Additionally, this compound induces autophagy (autophagy) and serves as an inducer for phase II enzymes (phase II enzyme), providing chemoprotective effects against carcinogens. 7-Methylsulfinylheptyl isothiocyanate is also utilized as a whitening and anti-inflammatory component in cosmetics.
