It triggers ferroptosis by depleting GSH, diminishing GPX4 expression, and escalating lipid peroxidation. Additionally, it effectively suppresses the proliferation of various cancer cells (HT29, H1975, A549, and MCF-7) with IC50 values ranging from 1.0 to 1.9 μM [1].
