– TDBC-4 [4-chloro-2-(2,3,6,7-tetrahydro-1H,5H-benzo[ij]quinolizin-9-yl)phenylidene]propanedinitrile] is a cationic and lipophilic dye used to assess mitochondrial membrane potential. It exhibits a high affinity for the mitochondrial membrane, enabling visualization and measurement of changes in mitochondrial potential in living cells.
