– Perfluoro-1,3-dimethylcyclohexane is used as a synthesis reagent for amorphous fluorocarbon film preparation by plasma polymerization, and for the hydroformylation of linear terminal alkenes. As a chemically inert compound, it is similar in properties to other perfluorocarbons.
