Product Description
– 8-Azido-ADP (disodium) is a covalent-binding inhibitor of mitochondrial adenine nucleotide translocation. 8-Azido-ADP (disodium) causes irreversible inhibition of adenine nucleotide exchange in a light-dependent reaction. 8-Azido-ADP (disodium) inhibits the normal state 4 → 3 transitions of mitochondrial respiration induced by ADP[1]. 8-Azido-ADP (disodium) is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups. Strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) can also occur with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
