– 6,6′-Dihydroxythiobinupharidine is a cysteine proteases inhibitor. 6,6′-Dihydroxythiobinupharidine can enhance DNA cleavage mediated by human topoisomerase IIα and IIβ ~8-fold and ~3-fold, respectively[1][2].
