– 4′-Hydroxytamoxifen is a metabolite of Tamoxifen. 4′-Hydroxytamoxifen shows higher affinity for the ER than Tamoxifen. 4′-Hydroxytamoxifen induces a non-apoptotic cytotoxic effect in human endometrial adenocarcinoma cells[1].
