– Regulates the composition and fluidity of the plasma membrane. Inhibits the incorporation of membrane-fluidizing phospholipids containing omega-3 long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (LCPUFA) and thereby promotes membrane rigidity. Does not appear to have any effect on LCPUFA synthesis. TLCD1 Protein, Human, Recombinant (His) is expressed in E. coli expression system with N-10xHis tag. The predicted molecular weight is 26.1 kDa and the accession number is Q96CP7.
