– GPS1573 is a non-competitive antagonist of the melanocortin 2 receptor (MC2R) that blocks the ACTH-stimulated activity of MC2R in a dose-dependent manner (IC50=66 nM). Due to its high selectivity in antagonizing MC2R, GPS1573 is utilized for research in Cushings disease.
