Product Description
– Hexidium iodide is a fluorescent nucleic acid stain that selectively permeates mammalian cells and exhibits excitation/emission at approximately 518/600 nm. This compound effectively stains nearly all gram-positive bacteria. Upon permeabilization using EDTA, Hexidium iodide can bind to the DNA of all bacterial species.
