– Glucoraphenin potassium, the primary orally active glucosinolate found in radish sprouts, catalyzes the induction of xenobiotic metabolizing enzymes (XMEs). It is hydrolyzed by the enzyme myrosinase into sulforaphene, which is associated with anticancerogenic effects [1] [2].
