– Concanavalin A-Cy5.5 (Con A-Cy5.5) is a form of Concanavalin A tagged with Cy5.5. Concanavalin A functions as a plant lectin that relies on Ca2+/Mn2+ for its activity and binds to mannose/glucose. It has the ability to bind with N- and O-glycosylated proteins on glycoproteins of head and neck cancer cells.
