Product Description
– Varenicline Tartrate (CP 526555-18) is a partial agonist of the α4β2 nAChR nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (EC50=2.3 μM). Varenicline Tartrate is a full agonist of α3β4 nAChR and α7 nAChR acetylcholine receptors with EC50 values of 55 μM and 18 μM, respectively. Varenicline is a nicotine ligand based on the cytosine structure that has the potential to be used in smoking cessation research.
