– Oritavancin diphosphate (LY333328 diphosphate) is an orally active glycopeptide antibiotic with activity against gram-positive organisms. Oritavancin diphosphate shows antibacterial effect against multidrug-resistant S. pneumoniae. Oritavancin diphosphate inhibits cell wall synthesis and disrupts the membrane potential[1][2].
