– mPEG-DSPE (MW 2000) sodium is a phospholipid PEG conjugate, has both hydrophilicity and hydrophobility. mPEG-DSPE (MW 2000) sodium is used in the synthesis of liposomes, increases the hydrophilicity on the surface of liposomes, consequently increasing the longevity of liposomes in the blood circulation for the study of anticancer and antimalarial agents[1][2].
