– Kirromycin (Mocimycin) is an antibiotic produced by Streptomyces collinus Tu 365. Kirromycin is a bacterial protein synthesis inhibitor that immobilizes elongation factor Tu (EF-Tu) on the elongating ribosome[1][2].
