Product Description
– Firazorexton (TAK-994 free base) is an oral active orexin type 2 receptor (OX2R) agonist (EC50=19 nM). Firazorexton has the potential to improve narcolepsy-like symptoms. Firazorexton promotes wakefulness in normal mice and improves wake fragmentation and cataplexy-like episodes in a mouse model of narcolepsy. However, Firazorexton was ineffective in OX2R knockout mice[1].
