– DCVC (S-[(1E)-1,2-dichloroethenyl]–L-cysteine) is a bioactive metabolite of trichloroethylene (TCE). DCVC inhibits pathogen-stimulated pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-1β, IL-8, and TNF-α release from tissue cultures[1][2].
